I have always had a love and connection with animals. My aunt bred Labrador Retrievers for many years. As a young girl growing up, a trip to her farm was always an adventure. Chickens, goats, sheep; it was a city kid’s dream come true. Most exciting was when she had a litter of pups. I never tired of playing with them. As I got older, I accompanied her to shows and field trial events. This experience always left me with the desire to one day, carry on her legacy. It was her passion and today it is mine.
Before embarking on this journey, we were blessed to have two wonderful Golden Retrievers, of which one was named Hansen (www.canineremedies.com). Hansen had health problems his entire life as he was severely epileptic. We had compassionate doctors who embraced our challenge and did whatever was needed for him. Difficult as it was, we would not have traded the experience for anything. Since Hansen’s passing, it has been my mission to spare families from such pain and to educate them in purchasing a dog from a reputable breeder. Our dogs are members of our family that live in our home and will continue to do so as our canine family grows. Most of our time is filled with providing them with a loving and nurturing environment.
